In our country Music Therapy Association was found in 1995 when Josef Moreno from the USA made a makro-seminar in Sofia and this event united people from different professions, which have already tried to do something in the same direction in connection with their individual training and personal creativity.
BAM is concerned with organizing work-shops and seminars for skills in music therapy and popularization of this approach in our country.
From 1999 till 2004 was carried out extramurally training toward “Art-therapeutic institute San Francisco” by guest's lecturers:

Typical for Bulgaria is following phenomenon: on many pleases in the country people from supporting professions, some of them musical teachers and others, are trying to use music for therapeutic purposes without having the needed abilities for that . If you have in mind that Bulgaria is the mother land of the musical figure of Orpheus IT CAN BECOME VERY INTERESTING.
